As the lead photographer for the Geelong Independent and the Ocean Grove Voice, I get to photograph sport, a lot of sport. Key sports include netball, football, cricket and bowls across Geelong Football and Netball League, Geelong Districts Football and Netball League and the Bellarine Football and Netball league.

My Approach to Sports Photography
My approach to sports photography is simple, isolate the action, make sure that the capture is interesting (a memorable moment in the game), shoot multiple frames per second to capture the moment in the action and be patient and wait for the right photograph.
Add to that shoot wide to tell the story, shoot tight to show the detail and shoot often because you need to be able to select the very best photographs.
